Why Did I Get Married Too? has only been in the theaters for a couple weeks and there is already talk of third installment. Tasha Smith, who played the boisterous Angela, told HipHollywood.com that there is a strong possibility for Janet Jackson, Jill Scott and Tasha to reunite.

“I know that Tyler said that he feels that there’s one more in there. And, you know, knowing the ending… It would be great to get an opportunity to talk about these characters and play them again. I don’t know anything about ‘3,’ though. Tyler hasn’t given me any clue as to where he could go. I just hope he does it in Paris!”

Why Did I Get Married T00? has already grossed over 48 million dollars at the box office.

I absolutely love the series of Why Did I Get Married.... each of the characters was awesome! I would love to see Mike unite with someone as well. I love the connection of married couples in everyday life situations. However, if I had some sort of opinions about Gavin coming back on the scene; I would not agree because it may take away from the realism of each of the movies. I do want to see a third "Why Did I Get Married"....THEY ARE GRRRRREEEAT!!!!

Um, it would be hard for Gavin to come back since he died at the end of the second movie. Unless Tyler Perry starts making zombie movies, but I doubt that will happen.

Yes, I agree with Tasha Smith as well. As far as Paris, that would be a good spot; but so would France.... OK Tyler, Please don't keep us (fans)hanging on a limb much longer, we would really like to know if you're working on that as your next project; because there is no doubt, there has to be a part three to the sequence; it just has to.... Other than the "Fine Rock" himself, it must be the same characters. Please, no matter what you have to do; you must have the same ladies (My girl Sharon Leal, Jill,Janet and Tasha)as well as the same men....(You yourself,(T.Perry)Richard Johnson, Lamar,and Angie's (Tasha)husband; sorry can't remember his name, but we all know there is no one else out there that would put up with Angie and her mouth.... Lol And whatever you do, please bring Gavin (Malik Yoba)back into the picture.... First of all the doctor never said, as far as we (fans)know that he didn't make it. So therefore, being in a coma having the doctor to say that he was in a coma; and that it doesn't look as if he's going to make it; is not the same as he didn't make it. "Mrs.Pat" takes upon herself as always, as if she can't handle seeing him in this physical state so she decides to have a memorial as if he's no longer around; and move on with her life as she continues to teach, not realizing that having all that she was fighting him for was not worth having without him to share it. Please allow her to go through, having "Dewayne Johnson" to help her get through the difficult times that comes her way; placing her in a tough spot once she finds out that Gavin has come out of his coma. No matter what they must find their way back to one another with her willing to communicate with him, not shutting him out any longer. (Just thought I would share my scenario/plot to this story in bringing Gavin back into the picture.(Smile) Thanks Mr. Perry.... Again, please don't keep us waiting too much longer; because you know as well as your fans that there must be a "third" while ending the sequence to "Why Did I Get Married."

I agree please you have to reunite these couples and bring Gavin back and I personaly think they had more and more to say I think Paris would be a great spot to be lik ethe Bahamas was and things but seriously you have to bring all the couples back and you know you want to bring Patricia(Janet Jackosn)yo girl back into it but this time spice up the movie like why did i get married too was that movie rock s and all the drama me and my sister love Drama we love you and Janet And Michael Jackson and it was really nice what you did for Janet Jackson in her time of need and Janet is a very very very stong and talented something and you yourself but anyways MAKE A NUMBER 3 PLEASE DON'T KEEP US HANGING AND WAITING ANY LONGER my suggestion (keep your fans happy)!!

I agree with Michelle from NC. Everything she said was on point because those were the same thoughts I had. The only thing I change slightly is that Malik Yoba fake his death but Ms. Janet doesn't know it because she moved so forward towards her relationship with the Rock. Also every time she fall asleep @ night with the Rock by her side she suddenly has bad dreams because the way his life ended and it's hard for her to gain peace because she has not forgiven herself. As time goes forward with her relationship with the Rock they decide to get engaged to be married but she discovers his death was unreal.

I thought this was a very nice plot that you came up with. Great creativity! However, I honestly think the writers will have a hard time bringing back Mr. Agnu seeing as how in the ending scenes Mr. Perry says that they say goodbye to him & he will be missed & then when the professor says she is sorry about her husbands passing...so I think it might confuse the audience...but I suppose the assumption that he is in a coma could work...it could be that Janet doesn't tell anyone he is in a coma...I don't know lol...anyways great job on the idea & I can't wait to see if a third installment is in fact added

The doctor shook his head signaling he didn't make it. And before the 1yr jump with the Rock at the end it showed them back at the place in the beginning sending out lanterns in Gavin's memory. He's dead.

Me, personnaly, I rather take "GAVEN" out of the picture for the whole begining of the movie, and if it's that case, Tyler should put him almost at the end; then "PAT" wouldn't what to do exactly, why ? Because, THE ROCK being chasing her for the entire movie. So, believe or not, Tyler will have to make a 4th one. Because, while PAT being chasing by THE ROCK, the other couples are dealing with their own ralationship issues.

The reason why Tyler should have make a 4th one, because, their are plenty of hidden secrets in the other couples's relationships, as SHARON who doesn't give her husband enough time by cheating on him, MICHAEL who's cheating on his sick wife(NOT TALKING ABOUT HER REACTION, IT'S ABOUT THE VD), JILL and RICHARD who still love each other, and then PAT who felt for THE ROCK, but have no clue who he really is, while her husband(MALIK) is still in the deep comma.

Michelle, Paris is in France, I assure you! Rewatch the movie because it is evident that Gavin is dead. Tyler Perry's character speaks of him and he will be "missed." When the other professor speaks to Janet's character at the end, she discusses her loss and how sorry she is. Gavin is gone and the only way to bring him back into the picture is by reflection and memory. He can't really be in the picture. Most dramas made must have comedy, drama, and tragedy. I would like to see how Dwayne Johnson's character comes into play.

Well iv'e watched that movie about literally 11 times and I personally think Gavin probably isn't dead the only people who know is the why did i get married cast not the fans...well I read your comment again and on one part it acually maybe true but really do we know (don't take it so personal just saying the only people who know stuff would be the person who made or created whatever it is so) anyway if Gavin is gone I would like that a little because of how he abused her because if you watch number 1 Gavin told Mike about how stupid Patricia was and even though it wa san accedental death Gavin still told everone there buisness with out telling her but in number 2 when Patricia say they buisness without telling Gavin he gets mad and abuses her.

There just has to be a part three to this theatrical, motivational, eye piercing and intriguing series (Why Did I Get Married). It captures you totally and the charcters are just perfect - everyone with their unique personality, which when combined is just the perfect group of friends, bringing their own spice. Well we are all expecting a part three, because two ended with suspense. We all need to know what's gonna happen with Janet and The Rock. You cant introduce/ add such a character to the set to just close the series. OH HELL NO!!! THIS CANT HAPPEN!!! (Guess I learn from Angie). LOL. We just cant wait.

I LoVe the "Why did I get married" movies the most out of all of TP movies. They have the most real about them. I just don't like how he leaves out info. Like why was Jantes charater so angery? What was it all in all that made them split and snap? And why kill Malik Yoba, and not Richard T, he was the one fighting cancer? I think that's the main reasons why he should bring it back, I find in all his movies he leave things unanswered. There are movies like that and you can read between the line for answer but his movies are more like guessing,and leave you wanting more, but whats the point if you don't continue. I do think if he brings it back with Janets charater Moving on, he really needs to touch on her issues, because Gavin knew a side of her know one else did, and how can thoes issues be brought out. Moreover, he did not clarify weather Marcus is cheating or not this time around? Or should we assume so, since right when Angie had a sane mind, he turned around and had a different cell phone. I'm just saying I would LoVe to see this movie keep on going, as long as he will alba rate on the obvious issues with the charaters.

I really love "Why did I get married" pt. One and too. I have multiple comments on both movies but don't feel like giving details right now. Ask for it, but I will say that there should be a pt. Three because of the new character, "The Rock" I mean you just can't have someone else come in the movie, especially at the end and just leave off like that. That will be an incomplete story. But I agree with Tasha and I love her character in both parts. That's a bad bitch. I am really looking forward to pt. Three, and hope Tyler Perry continues to use his brilliant ideas, and satisfy the fans of "Why did I get married".

Have to have a part 3. The rock and Janet must get married and possibly have a baby.... I think that would Be something nice and interesting to see and even add a step child in the mix to show how blended families are made and how Janet being a stepmom and a mom to a little one (2nd birth child) deals with those changes. Marques and Angie also need a lil drama and I wanna see if Sheila and Troy are still fighting... Maybe making Troy and mike become close friends would light a little fire to the mix. I'm not sure about Diane and TP can't think of the movie name rite now but I think they are the couple that are more open to working out their problems. Can't wait for the new one to come out whenever that will be!

I personally do not agree with Michelle from NC I don't like Malik yoga he can't act he acts he always have a chip on his shoulder in every role he plays. I love the Rock! Ive never seen him cast with a black woman and him and Janet would be great together so there doesn't need to be a conflict it had been a year since her husbands death so this wouldn't be a rebound. And would prefer not to bring back the other who has cancer and Jill Scott so horrible in the original movie he was too cruel I say he got what he deserved and I would not take of someone like that if I had been treated like that I say show his grave stone and done with him and everybody else can heal and look at ways to solve their problems we do not always need unnesscary drama. I would also like to see Janet and the Rock before the movies' over after they do elapsed time of them being together awhile

I would love to see part 3 with all these characters because I enjoy them and I like seeing how Tyler Perry addresses the various conflicts. He knows how to work with these characters and their strengths and weaknesses. If anyone wants a third installment to see the "happy ending" though, then I think you're missing the point of the movies. Relationships are hard work and they aren't perfect, however much you want them to be. If he did that in a third movie it would not be true to his message, imo.

I think there should be a third part. It should focus on Janet and her new love interest that Tyler introduced at the end of the movie, with using her and "the Rock" as the center of the plot. It should somewhat touch on Janet's ability to heal from her past losses thereby asking the question. "Why SHOULD I Get Married." Hence the title of the third movie installment.
